Recommended Reading

Many publications were reviewed for information regarding our ancestors and the Rebellion at Lares, aka, El Grito de Lares. I found the books listed below to contain a wealth of information. These books are out-of-print publications but are all available at the non-circulating stacks at El Centro, the Center of Puertorican Studies Library and Archives, at Hunter College in Manhattan. Some of them may be purchased by special order at Lectorum Books located at 137 West 14th Street in Manhattan, ph: (212) 741-0220.
